Friday Favourites - Must Try Recipes

{My favourite foodie finds of the week}

I love my Rocky Road recipe but this week I decided I will break away from my norm and try this decadent-looking White Chocolate, cranberry and Strawberry Rocky Road I found at Technicolour Kitchen. Will let you know how I go..

Alright, so I definitely won't be attempting this one but.. Wow!
From Sweetopolita (of course)

This Cheesy Mushroom Pull Apart would make a yummy starter to a casual dinner party, or just a family lunch. I think it would also be great with semi dried tomatoes instead of the mushroom.

I love all-in-and-mix recipes, and this condensed milk cake is the next must-do on my list. Oh, and it looks just like a sugar donut, you can't beat that!

My family love Nachos, so I gave the 4 Ingredients "Sharchos" dip a go on the weekend. Very quick and easy, and it went down a treat.

I have never attempted a macron but this Lemon Meringue Pie version from The Extraordinary Art of Cake sounds amazing! And seeing as though my sweet niece has quite the penchant for Macrons, I just had to add them to my list :)

Are you looking for lunchbox inspiration? I know I am. The Daily Buzz featured some great ideas here, and this is my favourite:

Friday Favourites - Mellow Yellow

My favourite colour is yellow, always has been.

I don't own any yellow clothes, or have yellow in my decor, or drive a yellow car. Hell I don't even have any yellow flowers in my garden; but I love yellow.

It's bright, it's cheery and it's the colour of the sun (mostly), so how could one not like it?

Please indulge me in my yellow obsession:

I was delighted to see that one of the on trend colours for 2012 fashion is, yes yellow.

A girl's yellow obsession wouldn't be complete without a yellow diamond, and this light yellow diamond ring from nina's jeweller is simply stunning.

Yellow. Love it or hate it?

Friday Favourites

{My favourite finds of the week}

I was sent these images via an email this week and they blew me away:

Tom  Hill is a 23 year-old self taught sculptor who creates life size animal sculptures using nothing but recycled  horseshoes.
It amazes me how his sculptures even seem to have personalities.

Christmas is not so far away and when I discovered these gorgeous new decorations at Muzz on Facebook, I just had to pop an order through :)

The hanging decorations are lazer cut, mirrored acrylic that are cut to your chosen shape from the range, and engraved with the name of each of your family members. At only $40.00 for 5 engraved ornaments, delivered Australia wide, they are a unique and affordable addition to your Christmas ornament collection or a beautiful gift idea.
The "trees" are available too, in a range of shapes, sizes and designs. {I bought the pictured tree for my table centrepiece}

Now for some fashion indulgence:

Some shoes I feel I just must have for summer..

.. and a to-die-for outfit from those fabulous girls at Birdsnest

When I came across this clock in my Pinterest travels, I had to laugh at the comment below from a previous 'pinner': "...my husband". She is probably on the other side of the world but we had precisely the same thought on seeing this image :)

I love a good quote to remind me to recognise the wonderful and magical moments in every day.
