Wonderful Wellies

I have a little obsession with Wellington boots at the moment.

Maybe it is my way of looking on the bright side of winter. Maybe it's just the fact that they have come some far from the humble black shiny wellies that I knew growing up.
Either way, have you seen the selection out there? Wow!

Please enjoy some of my favourites and perhaps help me to decide which to buy..

Homemade Happiness

On this wet, wintery day we've enjoyed a very family day with musical & dance performances from the kids, baking, lots of tidying and organising ~ just simple, family time at home.

It has reminded me of this quote that I love

I also love the beautiful products at the Alphabet Tree where I found the quote in the form of a wall decal.

School Holiday Planners

I know many of you are already in the midst of school holidays, but with ours under a week away, it's time to prepare a plan of attack.. well a holiday planner anyway.

This is where the creative {and super organised} girls at Super Organiser Mum & A little Delightful come in.

They have created and prepared these cute and handy printables to help you prepare for, and organise your children's holidays.

There is a holiday calendar that you can alter to suit your holiday dates and a holiday fun list where you can add details of some fun ideas for things to do and see.

Mine are complete with outings and home activities based around my work and times the kids can be cared for by grandparents.

Most events and activities on our calendar are open to a change of day depending on weather conditions.

Now we're organised!

Soft as a baby's bottom

The Budburst Kids "Baby's Bottom" Sale means you can take extra special care of your baby's bottom and indeed, all their skincare needs.

I've raved about the bottomsup balmy bottom butter before, (lots of alliteration there:) but with winter well and truly upon us, and at this price, it's worth stocking up!

Normally great value at $17.95 - now only $13.46!

The rest of the bottomsup skincare range which is perfect for babies and children of all ages, is also discounted by 25%.

We use the balmy bottom butter to help control our son's eczema, the organic body wash in the bath (as his skin cannot tolerate most supermarket or pharmacy bath products), and the moistsurpriser on both my children's skin - it also keeps my hands silky smooth!

What about covering your baby's bottom in the softest, all-in-one, so easy to use Modern Cloth Nappy?

Our adorable Cushie Tushies range is also discounted in our Baby's Bottom
Sale - even the special offer of a free pair of Agoo Leggings with a selection of Cushie Tushies is discounted!

Hurry, these are selling out fast at only $18.71!

Orange & Poppy Seed Muffins

I had my sister and niece coming to visit today so decided to make something for afternoon tea that I hadn't baked before.

I had heaps of oranges {and always have poppy seeds} so decided on these delicious muffins!

Light and fluffy on the inside, a little bit of crisp on the outside.

This recipe is a keeper :)
