Holiday fun for less..

Well that was what the ad promised anyway.

The Kmart ad that is. 

While reading Adelaide's Child I came across an ad selling kid's white canvas shoes, craft activity packs and poster paint with the promise of "keeping your little artist entertained..with everything needed to unlock their creativity"

I figured that as we already had the poster paint and other required craft materials, all we needed was the little canvas shoes at only $5.00 a pair. Bargain!

With the wet weekend we needed to action this creativity inside. Hmmm.. out with the newspaper and Splat Mat {Shameless plug}

Well yes, it was holiday fun for less... less money and even less mess than I expected.

The kids loved it. It was quite the novelty to be able to paint something that you could actually wear, and my little lad has already asked to get some new shoes tomorrow to paint again. Success!
